Thanks to Cass at
Cass Knits, I have a new outlet for showing off my crafty endeavors. This week's project is the flower pot that I painted for my daughter's Montessori school. It was VERY simple to do, but I'd be lying if I said that the idea was mine. I found the pattern in a book that I bought from Michaels. I did, however, do the painting all by myself!

There's the "from a distance" shot.

And there it is closer-up.
I feel I CAN take credit for the placement of the name (used a stencil for that) and the saucer, as there wasn't a saucer in the pattern and I had to have one. Other than that, it's almost "by the book".
Enjoy!

That is just so cute! I'm going to be trying something like that, I think. I love to paint stuff!
